comments: I have an honors degree from UC Berkeley in Political
Economics. I am starting a Masters degree in Philosophy, Politics and
Economics at UCT in 2009.
I am interested in exploring ideas of "abundance" in monetary systems.
The role that alternative currencies can play in development. This is
all grounded in the belief that our current system that focuses on
scarcity, competition and perpetual growth is destroying our communities
and our environment while totally disregarding the rights of humans to
sustenance and health.
