[cc_research] cashing in on local currencies

Dear all,
Regarding degrees, various academic disciplines, and more surely sub-
sections of disciplines and crossings of disciplines, may lead to a
diploma. The most important field is probably that of local
development studies.
This is a strength of the field, since it relies on various viewpoints
and requires various methodologies; and a weakness, since it is
nowhere acknowledged as a legitimate and important research field (as
far as I know it).
But this makes sense in the research field, not in the training one.
Given that organisations implementing CCs are mostly NGOs, and on a
far lesser way local governments or companies, there is no significant
(and "cashy") job market for students trained in this field.
Best regards,
Jerome B.
