[cc_research] C3 Uruguay (microcredit in CC with supports from Uruguayan gov't) has been launched

     Dear all,

     A new electronic complementary currency started yesterday (on Fri) 
in Uruguay, with supports from different ministries and BROU (Uruguay's 
largest commercial bank).

     This system will provide cheaper microcredits to small businesses 
because of the lack of need to pay for the official rate, creating a 
network of production and consumption among Uruguayan small businesses 
and keeping the purchasing power within this ring.  Already some other 
South American countries (like Argentina and Venezuela) have shown 
interest in introducing a similar systems.
